whenever I’m traveling I always get tripped out at the fact that this is someone’s actual hometown like they know every back road and how to get everywhere and they’ve probably had tons of memories in this city

but I’m just someone passing by

My grandpa has Alzheimer’s so he has no idea who my grandma is but everyday for the last three or four months he brings her in flowers from their garden and asks her to run away with him and be his wife and everyday she says she already is and everyday the smile my grandpa gets on his face is the most beautiful heartfelt thing I have ever seen.

THE TOP RIGHT MAKES ME CRY

JUST THE TOP RIGHT?!

I agree, all of the gifs of her are amazing but that top right one…the way her head and arms move and she just pulls into fifth. When a ballerina can make something very special happen when she simply moves between steps, it’s awe-inspiring. This is one of the reasons why Olesya is one of my favorites. <3

agreed. and the bottom left- so simple but ahhhhhhh

That bottom right tho.
So smooth
So clean

I could watch that top right gif for a lifetime

I really wish they’d promote her (and Kolegova… and Osmolkina though I don’t think that will ever happen) already.

Lopatkina only has a few years left and she doesn’t dance everything; Vishneva travels a lot and has many other projects; Makhalina and Pavlenko are listed as principals but don’t really get cast much (if at all).

We’re left with Kondaurova, Tereshkina and Somova. When it comes to a promotion, I prefer it goes to Novikova and Kolegova over Skorik. I don’t hate Skorik, but she’s not my fave either. Sigh.

I need to see more from the ballet fandom on my dash.

on some occasions, a sloth will be climbing and it will reach up and grab its own arm. this usually results in the sloth falling to its death because it mistook itself for a branch.

At NorCal Corgi Beach Day at Fort Funston. Got to meet some awesome Internet corgis and their respective owners and it was glorious: Marlowe and Norah (the cutest little pair, Norah is a tiny and adorable 20 lbs!), Chompers (picture perfect in his plaid bowtie), Linus (he has the most beautiful and expressive eyes), Sully (such a sweet little bear) and Guinness (not pictured). Also got to hang out with Carrie and Dean and Megan, Ed and Jiggles again. Chobley looked like he had a lot of fun - it was great seeing all of them play together!
